“I am originally from Canada but I have lived in the USA since 1998. I have been involved in athletics my entire life. I began playing hockey at the age of 4 and tried my hand at baseball and swimming during high school. While in high school I unfortunately suffered a neck injury playing football. This serendipitous event required a visit to a chiropractor and I immediately fell in love with the profession. I have an undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics (exercise physiology) as well as a degree in Human Biology and a doctorate in Chiropractic medicine. Since I continue to play sports, I decided to pursue a post graduate certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician. I also hold a certification with McKenzie USA as a Cert. MDT (certified to perform mechanical diagnosis and therapy). Outside of work I continue to stay active. My two sons help in that department as well as continuing to play hockey. I also enjoy swimming on a masters team and have recently begun to train for triathlons. I am a firm believer that quality healthcare does not equal quantity.”
